Random Thoughts

I have been keeping a journal for years and far be it for me to keep my increasingly witty wisdom to myself any longer. Here are 10 thoughts I have to share about my every day encounters with all kinds of different people and of course myself!

1. Housewife, stay at home mom, domestic entrepreneur, stop feeling like you have to defend the soap opera bon bon theory.  If you do sit around all day in a messy house, watching soaps and eating bon bons, watching your kids play and your hubby is okay with it, then that is all that matters. It’s your life, live it don’t defend it.

 2. Working moms, stop feeling like you have to defend why you went back to work, and didn’t choose to be a stay at home mom. We are all different. If your family is happy with your choice, then you be happy with your choice. God made us all different and thank goodness, how boring would it be if we were all the same or if there were only men in the work force…sheesh!

    3. I am a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ, His life, His death, and His resurrection. I do not like being judged for my belief. My bible tells me not to judge others, so I don’t. If you have a different belief then that is your choice, but don’t try to take away my rights, because my beliefs aren't the same as yours. And just to add; everyone that claims to be a Christian may not be living the way you think a Christian should, but every time you point your finger at someone you have 3 pointing back at you.

    4. I have been married for almost 15 years. I have learned Love is a commitment  followed by action to that commitment. If you make life changing decisions based  solely on emotion, your marriage will fail.

   5. If you live only for the butterfly moments, you miss a lot of good stuff in between.

   6. Parenting is not a part time job.

   7. Hope is more than a 4 letter word.
   8. Life is short, but it can be full.

   9. You can have everything you want if you change what you want to what you      already have.

 10. Being content doesn't mean you want to stay in the same place doing the same  thing forever. It just means you’re enjoying the journey to your final destination.
