To the Hurting Women - God's Got You

From the depths of my soul I cried out to God this morning that He would touch the hearts and the minds of the women that reached out to me just this week - then my mind drifted to every week since I’ve been in ministry - then for those hurting women that I do not even know...these beautiful precious women...these children of God...these desperate souls that just want the hurt to go away. I prayed.

Broken marriages, children in trouble, sickness, lay offs, death and the list goes on. Life can be so unfair at times. We try to do our best, we try to live a good life, we try to honor God in our actions, our speech, our love for others - but there are some days when life

is just too much to bear. I’ve been there...oh have I been there. I cry out to God just like you do...they do...we all do. And you know what? God has yet to let me down. Somehow - some way - in the midst of my desperate pleas to just make it all stop - He comes to me. He breaks through the tears, the heartache, the screaming, the clenched fists and He comes to me. A still small voice reaches my ear and reminds me how much He loves me and that somehow - some way - it’ll all be okay.

Today I choose to be His voice to tell you - somehow - some way - God’s way - it’ll all be okay. In my prayer this morning I heard God tell me - to tell you - you are loved - and in addition to that - you are the only you in the whole world - and you were given this life - because God knows your strength - more than you know it yourself

- and He knows you are strong enough to handle it. So here is my letter to you, inspired by the words of God that I heard in my Spirit this morning. I pray you will be encouraged.


Dear Hurting Woman,

You are a precious jewel that cannot be replaced. Your tears are being bottled up in heaven as they stream down your face because God knows you intimately and loves you unconditionally. He knows the pain, He knows each and every tear and why they’re there and He longs to comfort you and gently wipe them from your face. He has created a good plan for your life and He desires more than anything for you to seek Him, draw closer to Him and cast every burden upon Him because He cares for you. He is always with you. Even when you can’t see Him, feel Him or even when you think you don’t want Him there...He is there. His patience is eternal and He will never leave you. His love for you is so vast that He sent His only Son to die for you that you may live. Live in victory, with passion and power. He desires you to live in His Word and know that every single promise He has made to you He desires to keep. He smiles when He looks at you because you are fearfully and wonderfully made. He took great pleasure in forming you in your mother’s womb. He takes great pleasure in you now. In His eyes you are the most beautiful creation He has made. You are more than a conqueror - you are a child of God. You have limitless power inside of you. God has promised to be your strength when you feel weak, He promises to fight for you, He promises that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, He promises to walk with you in the darkest of valley’s and to provide you comfort and joy. His promises are limitless just like His love for you. Embrace the knowledge that you were created on purpose for a purpose and that there is no one like you. You are the only you than can do what you do. You are a precious gift to this world. Just imagine how you desire to bless others, and then imagine how much more God desires to bless you.  All of your sin has been forgiven and your name can never be blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life. Take up your sword, move forward in faith and lay aside your worry. God’s got you! God’s got this. You are eternally loved.
